The Franklin Pierce University Master
of Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking a dynamic faculty
member to join our team. This part-time position includes responsibilities
for didactic and clinical course coordination and teaching, student
advising, and program evaluation. An enthusiastic team of PA
educators and small student cohort (24 seats per year) allow
ample opportunities for growth and innovation. The program has
received provisional accreditation from the ARC-PA and will undergo
evaluation for continuing accreditation in the spring of 2012.
The 27-month program, located in Lebanon, NH, is nestled between
the Green Mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire's White Mountain
National Forest, minutes from Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth
Hitchcock Medical Center.
The successful candidate must be
a graduate of an accredited PA Program with a relevant master's
degree, NCCPA certification, with a minimum of five years clinical
experience, and be in the possession of or the ability to obtain
licensure in the state of New Hampshire or Vermont. Preferably
the candidate will also have at least two years experience in
health-related teaching, a relationship-centered approach to
teaching and clinical medicine and excellent organization and
interpersonal skills preferred.

The developing Franklin
Pierce University PA Program, located within the College of Graduate
and Professional Studies in Lebanon, New Hampshire, is seeking
core faculty members to join our Program Director and Medical
Director in the start-up phase of this program.
Assistant professor:
full- or part-time, 12-month position, clinical-track, with the
opportunity for advancement. Clinical and educational opportunities
supported by the department. Located in the west central part
of New Hampshire and nestled between the Green and White Mountain
National Forests.
Resources and affiliations with nearby Dartmouth
Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Medical School. Program
goals include a focus on serving the health care needs of Vermont
and central/northern New Hampshire.
Qualifications: PA candidates
should have a master’s degree, be NCCPA certified and eligible
for licensure in the state of New Hampshire or Vermont. A minimum
of 3 years clinical experience required. Experience in PA education
and a record of scholarly activity is preferred, but all interested
candidates are encouraged to apply.
